about Christine... Christine Rothwell came to Astrology from a background in education. She is a fully qualified professional astrologer, an accredited teacher of astrology and is currently serving as an examiner on the National Examination Board of the Federation of Australian Astrologers. An interest in mythology and archetypal psychology as well as training in counselling, psychotherapy and family therapy influence her approach to astrology. Her qualifications include:
Christine has been working as a full time professional astrologer since 1990 and has lectured at International Astrology Conferences hosted by the Federation of Australian Astrologers in Melbourne and Sydney. Her special area of interest and expertise lies with combining a spiritual and psychological perspective in both her teaching and consulting work.
Christine works in Melbourne, Australia but also does readings for inter-state and over-seas clients [digitally recorded onto CD]. She is available for personal consultations in Beaumaris and can also do readings by phone or Skype if Beaumaris seems too far away.

an initial consultation
...is about 90 minutes [or 21/2 hours for the in-depth session] and explores the soul's journey as revealed through the symbol of the personal horoscope and the current transits and progressions. I believe the birth chart is always an invitation to growth and self acceptance and never a fated definition. The focus is on the potential inherent in the birth chart and the challenges that need to be embraced in order to realise this potential.

...explores the year ahead from a psychological perspective. The emphasis is on understanding your current processes so you can make more informed choices.
understanding your child
...explores a child's unique needs, motivations, potentials and challenges. This consultation can help parents [and grand parents] to see their child from a more detached perspective and parent their child more effectively. This consultation makes a wonderful gift for new parents.
relationship analysis
...helps us to understand the dynamics between any two people: friends, lovers or parent and child. All our relationships have something to teach us and this analysis can help us to understand what this may be. Please note, for ethical reasons both people must consent to the consultation and have already had a personal reading with Christine. The one exception is the parent / child relationship.

in-depth consultation: $200-00 or $220-00. this consultation includes two one hour CD's: one on the birth chart and the second on the year ahead.The second price includes 2 e-booklets* of your choice.
chart update: $130-00: a 70 minute CD plus a computer generated booklet on the year ahead.
one hour consultation: A 60 minute session is available for $100-00 on either the birth chart or the year ahead.
understanding your child: $150-00. This consultation explores a child's gifts and challenges and includes a brief comparison with the parents charts and a supplementary booklet on the child's chart called childstar.
relationship consultation: $150-00. This consultation includes an 80 minute CD and copy of kindred Spirits for each person.
